Skype & Mobile Phones for Teaching and learning say I!!

Mobile phones today, i mean who has not got one, it’s almost essential. And the already are being used for leaning I myself used mine for education, to recorded lectures and to access the university blackboard. But they can offer so much more, for example answers could be texted in to lecturers during lectures maybe extreme but it could happen in the future. Maybe be able to unload work and assignments through your mobile the possibilities are endless.

Skye also could be used for educational purposes, as a sort of internet phone it could serve as a way to hold internet lectures. If a big enough server was to be set. What do you lot think?

its pretty cool

you make your avatar and you can walk around

and do all kinda of crazy things go try it for yourself LOOL

kind of like sims you can make money, recycle.

good little social application.

BUT

As well as fun and social, i believe it could be used in education too, I believe lecturers could hold lectures on there and student can attend, i believe it would be a great idea. tables, boards can all be found on second life classroom can be created i mean why not. I wouldn't be surprised if it was put into action in a year or so.

New Student Group Proposal *Car Owners Club*

Im proposing a MDX car owners club.
you dont have to have a car join, you could just be kein, or looking to own car soon.

this group would be very benificial,
we can share all kinds of tips,
technical, basic or whatever.
cheap insurance tips.
forums for cheap modification parts or general parts.
recommended garages and etc.

even recommendation on driving schools and crash courses.
